DVD help

I just got some Sony DVD-RW's and I've been trying to record some of my tapes onto them and then watch it on my computer, but nothing on the disc shows up. Can anyone help?

Now, can anyone recommend a good and easy program to material rip them?

You mean to rip DVDs? Try using DVD Shrink, or DVD Decrypter. I prefer DVD Shrink, but both are good. I think you can download them both for free, if you go to the websites for them.

Yeah, but I'd like soemthing that makes them into YouTube-friendly formats.

Oh, ok. Try something called AutoGK (Gordan Knot), it takes DVD type files, and converts them to AIV files. See if that works for you.
