Forgetful Jones's debut?

Does anyone know the first skit Forgetful appeared in back around 1979 or so? This character seems interesting to me, its like, I know about him, but not as much about him, he seemed like a major character back in the 1980s and early 1990s.

i recall early 80s but close enough.

I think it's the one where he brushes Buster's teeth, back in 1980. (They remade the sketch later in the mid-80s. Also, Mike Davis played him then, and Buster was played by Kevin Clash. Forgetful also had an upper row of teeth then.)

Wait, I thought Kevin didn't join until 1984.

Maybe that's when he joined as a full-time Muppeteer. Before that he worked on "The Great Space Coaster" and "Captain Kangaroo". (I've even got an episode where he does a voiceover.)
