Fraggle Rock: The next generation

Hey everyone! This is a continuation from my last two fraggle stories. I hope you enjoy this one!

Chapter 1

Let's start at the beginning. Gobo and Red were married a few years back, and had a daughter. She looked alot like her father, but had her mother's long red hair. They named her Karrie.

Boober and Tosh were married as well, and had a little one. They named him Sidebottom, for reasons unknown, except for Boober. Sidebottom was a splitting image of his dad, but had a wild wardrobe and loved to laugh.

Wembley and Lou also had a daughter, named Gabbi. She loved to talk, and loved to agree with everyone.

Mokey, however, did not find a mate. She dedicated her life to her art, and looking over the new little ones. She was a mother at heart.

Storyteller had a child, and named him Matt Jr. Shortly after Traveling Matt passed away, she took care of the little one. He had shaggy blonde hair, and had glasses, but looked alot like his father.

The story begins as a new day dawns in Fraggle Rock.
"Hey Matt, wait up!" Karrie shouted to the sprinting Fraggle. Matt Jr. challenged Karrie to a race around the great hall, and Karrie was losing.
"Ha! I win!" Matt said happily.
"No fair! You got a head start!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
Just then, Gabbi walked by.
"Good morning guys!" She said excitedly. She was wearing a banana tree shirt, and hair in pigtails.
"Ah, Gabbi! Just the fraggle I wanted to see!" Matt said joyfully. "Tell me, who do you think won?"
Gabbi scratched her head and shrugged.
"Well,.....uh....you both did a excellent job!"
"Aw Gabbi, you always say that!" Karrie said grumpily.
"I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings." She replied.
"And I applaud you for it!" Sidebottom said. He walked up to the three.
"So, what are you guys doing today? Something fun?"
"We are discussing who won the race around the great hall." Matt Jr. said.
"Yeah, it was me!" Karrie said.
"It was not!"
"Was too!"
Sidebottom and Gabbi looked at each other, rolled their eyes, and shook their heads.
"Why are you guys always competeting against each other anyway?" Sidebottom asked.
"Because I want to prove that I am the leader of this group." Matt replied.
"Wait a minute, who made you leader of this outfit? If anyone should be leader, it should be me!" Karrie replied.
"Now wait a minute...." Sidebottom started to speak, but Matt and Karrie started to run around the great hall again.
Sidebottom and Gabbi looked at each other.
"Want to grab a Doozer stick?"
"Sure."
Yep, it was another day in Fraggle Rock. But little did the four young fraggles know, it was that day that will change their lives forever.

Oh wow, this promises to be great. As you probably know by now, I love fraggle fanfiction! Will we be seeing the older generation, or just mainly the young ones?

Chapter 2

"Gotcha!" Gobo fraggle swooped up Karrie and smooched her on the cheek.
"Dad.....you're embarrassing me!" Karrie said detestedly.
"Aw, come on. One smooch for your old man?"
Karrie, with a big grin, kissed her dad on the cheek.
"Hi cousin Gobo!"
"Hi Matt. Are you guys having a good day today?"
"We sure are! I beat Karrie in a race around the Great Hall."
"What?! You did not!"
"Did too!"
"Now now kids, don't get too compeditive. It might lead you into trouble." Karrie's mom, Red fraggle, entered the cave.
"OK mom. You always know best."
"Yeah right...." Gobo muttered under his breath.
"I heard that!" Red shoved Gobo playfully.
"Mom, Dad, can me and my friends go to the Gorg's garden?"
Gobo shook his head immediately.
"Absolutely not young lady."
"Not to worry cousin Gobo, for I will go with her!" Matt said.
"You can't go either Matt. You guys are too young, and are liable to hurt yourselves."
"But dad...."
"No buts. Now, go on and play somewhere. And promise me you'll be safe."
"We promise." The young fraggles said.
"Go on now." Red said, gently nudging them out the door.
"Well, I guess she has my spirit of exploring."
"I don't think so. She has my bravery."
"Ha!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah!"
"Race ya to the Great Hall!"
"You're on!"
And so, the husband and wife raced to the Great Hall.

Chapter 3

Karrie and Matt Jr. walked down a cave, looking for something to do.
"Boy, things have been pretty boring today, huh?" Karrie asked.
"Hmmm." Matt uttered, concentrating on a thought he had.
"Are you listening to me?"
"Huh? Oh, uh, yeah. Boring. Right."
"Matt, what are you thinking about?"
"Well, I know a way to spice up this day."
"And what's that?"
"An adventure in the Gorg's garden." Matt said slyly.
Karrie frowned.
"You heard my father. He said that we are too young, and could get hurt."
"But Karrie, we are almost six years old. We can go if we want to. I mean, we are responsible, smart fraggles who can take care of ourselves."
Karrie started to nod.
"Yeah. Yeah we are! I mean, when my dad was our age, he went on adventures even more dangerous than this!"
"And of course, he always came back, unscathed."
"That's why he is the greatest explorer in the rock."
The two were quiet for a while.
"Let's do it. Let's explore the Gorg's garden!" Matt said.
Karrie nodded.
"Yeah! Let's go!"
They rushed off to tell Gabbi and Sidebottom.

"You want to what?!" Gabbi said, visibly nervous.
"Go to the Gorg's garden." Matt repeated.
"But we can't go there! Our parents said we couldn't!" Gabbi retaliated.
"Aw come on Gabbi, what could it hurt?" Karrie asked.
"Well, I guess you have a point." Gabbi said.
"Gabbi, you're wembling again!" Sidebottom pointed out.
"Sidebottom, what do you think?"
The three looked at him, and he smiled.
"It sounds like fun. Let's do it!"
The four put their hands in a circle.
"Ready? One, two, three!"
"WHOOPIE!"
After that, Matt Jr. had a thought.
"Wait a minute guys. Before we go, we have to promise not to tell our parents where we are going."
"Why?" Gabbi asked.
"So we won't get in trouble." Karrie answered.
"Oh. Right." Gabbi replied, subdued.
"Let's do the solmn oath of the fraggle." Sidebottom suggested.
The four put their right hands on their hearts, their left hands in the air, and said in unison,
"We,
Matt, Karrie, Gabbi, and Sidebottom,
do solmnly swear,
to never tell our parents where we are going today.
Weeba, weeba, waffa, waffa, garbon, garbage, whoopie!"
"Now that's settled, let's go!" Karrie said triumphantly.
"Go where, little ones?" Said a gentle voice behind them. It was Mokey Fraggle, their babysitter.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about this one! That last chapter seemed a bit short, but other than that it was pretty good. Can't wait to read more!

Chapter 4

"What were you little ones talking about, hmmm?" Mokey asked the four.
Matt, Karrie and Sidebottom held their tongues. Gabbi, however, wanted to spill the radishes.
"Uh....ah.....oh rocks! Mokey, we are going to the Gommerphemiph!" Karrie and Matt put their hands over Gabbi's mouth.
"The what?" Mokey asked.
"The uh....the squeeky caverns! Yes, uh, my dad asked me to take a trip up there with my friends, and bring back lots of rock soap. You know my dad, he loves to do laundry." Sidebottom said, hoping that Mokey would buy it.
"Oh that Boober. He always runs out of rock soap. If that is the case, you kids be careful now. OK?"
"Yes Mokey." The fraggles said in unison.
"Good." Mokey scooped up the four and gave them a big hug. "Have fun."
She released the hug and went off towards the great hall.
"Why did we do that? Why did we have to lie to Mokey? If we get caught, we are in so much trouble!" Gabbi said in dispair.
"Don't worry Gabbi. We won't get caught. We are just going to the Gorg's garden for a little bit, and then we'll come back home again." Matt said.
"And besides, we can pick up a radish and have a snack!" Karrie said, in hopes of making Gabbi feel better.
"Well, I do like my radishes." Gabbi said with a smile.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Sidebottom proclaimed.

In the Gorg's garden, Ma and Pa Gorg were watching their new daughter, Sis, play with Junior.
"Tag! You'we it!" Sis yelled triumphantly.
"Aw phoey! I'm always it." Junior said.
"Now Junior, play nice with you're little sister while me and your mother go off and frolic in the creek." He said, playfully nudging Ma gorg.
"Oh, your highness." Ma said flirtatiously.
Junior rolled his eyes.
"Yes Ma and Pa."
Ma and Pa left, leaving Junior and Sis alone.
"Big bwother, awe we going to catch some fwaggles?"
"Oh, not today. Today, I'm going to teach you about the garden."
"That doesn't sound like fun at all big bwother." Sis said detestedly.
"Aw, it's more fun than it sounds. I'm going to the shed and get some seeds. Stay right here, OK?"
"Yes big bwother."
As Junior went to the shed, Sis sneaked over to kissing rock.
"Awight fwaggles. I'm going to sit hewe, and catch one of you, and keep you as a pet." She giggled at the thought.

Very intresting. I love seeing others versions on the fraggles. Especially since I wrote my own version of it.
