I was watching yesterday's (Wed feb 19) afternoon (3:30P) 1-2-3 Sesame episode on Noggin, and a Furry Arms sketch was the main story (Benny (is that his name?) the Bunny bellhop greases everything with chicken fat).

Furry Arms is after my time, so wasn't familiar with it. It reminded me of the British TV series Fawlty Towers with Monty Python John Cleese. I was wondering if this was just a coincidence or if it was supposed to be that way.

Also the sketch was hysterical, and it wasn't weighed down by any "message", "lesson", "moral", etc. that are apparently a requirement of today's On The Street segments.

And politically incorrect! Benny says something like "I said CHICKEN FAT! Not FAT CHICKEN! (but I could have!)"

And Benny's not such a nice character at all!(I'm on my BREAK!) I could see no-sense-of-humor parents up in arms about the guy. I mean, the new episodes even make OSCAR seem pleasant (still grouchy, but not so abrasive as in the past)

Oh, just my ramblings. Back to watching John Leguizamo as Captain Vegetable....
