Does Gonzo have a seperate head or is it attached like Elmo & Grover? Does anybody know? :concern:

A bit of both!
His head is a separate piece,but the fur covering it is part of the body.

Gonzo has a seperate head to body, Neck continues down inside the body - kind or the same principle as Ernie and Miss Piggy etc.

Separate head and body, at least most of the time. Sometimes you can see the separation, as you can with the meditation skit on the Disney.com website. In one of the outtakes on the "Muppets from Space" DVD, Gonzo is even performed head only, without his body.

Gonzo's neck is so thick, for his head to be able to turn freely at all it has to be separate from his body.

I was going by the photo puppet, but I guess the production puppet is done differently.
