Hi all,

Just wanted to take a moment to stop by and say Howdy to all of you. A few weeks ago I decided that I needed something to do to keep the old brain occupied. Alas... I'll build a puppet. Sure, I've never built one before, but figured that I'd do some research and check out some options. I'm glad I found this forum. It has provided me with hours of reading and learning pleasure.

So far, most of the people I've told about my new endeavor have scoffed! But they were the same ones who said a person (especially a GUY) who hasn't sewn before, couldn't make his own Hawaiian shirt! Ha HA! Wrong answer, Grover Lips!
( My Spongebob Squarepants Shirt! ) Didn't come out too bad for a first attempt, I think.

So for now I will leave you all and go back to reading more, before pummeling you with stupid (and overasked) questions.
