Guess who I saw?

So, me and some friends go down to Madison Hotel to hear barrelhouse blues pianist Di Anne Price perform, and as I walk to the restaurant to get some ice tea, guess who's sitting in the lobby wearing a black cap, long black coat, and jeans and sneakers, reading a letter of some sort?

Sean Penn.

No big whoop, I'm not a huge fan of his or Madonna's, and I dare NOT ask him for an autograph for fear of getting the bajeezus beat out of me, but it was him.

Later he left and came back in with some Chinese food.

Oh Sean Penn is one of the best comeback cases I know. Brilliant actor and director. I thought the Pledge was one of the top 5 films of 2001. Dead Man Walking, Thin Red Line, and I am Sam...good stuff.

But yes, random celebrity sightings are cool.
