if so, where did you buy it? i have been looking everywhere and can't find it! i don't particularly want to order it online. has anyone bought it at any chain stores?

I have not bought one, but I have seen them at Frys Electronics, Best Buy, Tower and a couple other stores.
If you go to Barnes & Noble (www.bn.com) they have free shipping if you order any two items! That might save you some coin.

I've seen them at Media Play and Suncoast--I just received one for my birthday, and I'm enjoying it despite the Pan-And-Scanness of it all....my VHS was Pan-And-Scan too, so that's how I'm used to seeing it.
