Ive been thinking about making an attenpt to built an Anything Muppet, like from sesame street :insatiable: but one thing has been pondering me...
how do they attach the heads to the bodies? do they like just stick the head's neck sleeve in the body/ or is there a special attachment? :stick_out_tongue:

Usually, it's tube that's attached to the head that goes through the body and then is safety-pinned or vecroed to the inside of the body.

This is to make it easier to turn the head. I like to attach the heads to bodies on most of my puppets because I usually only use mine for meet and greets and things and it's one less thing that'll fall off in public.

Generally, I'd recommend permanently sewing the neck in (just be sure to use a non-stretch fabric). Years ago I tried velcro and safety pins and I found that the pins can rip the puppet if you're not careful and the velcro wears out. There are exceptions though, it really depends what you want to do.
