As some of you may or may not know, I am writing a research paper about The Jim Henson Company, which is due over the weekend. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows when the company changed its name from Muppets, Inc. to Henson Associates; Henson Associates to Jim Henson Productions; and Jim Henson Productions to The Jim Henson Company.

It seems that in the 1989-1990 period, that the company was using BOTH Henson Associates and Jim Henson Productions in articles and press releases, which confuses me. And if anyone has any dates (not only year, but also month and day) it would help me a bunch. I know the company was formed in 1958 and changed its name to the current Jim Henson Company SOMETIME in the 1996-1997 time period.

Also, do you guys think if I actually called Henson at one of their offices, do you think they would help?

Thank you. Even if I don't get a response, thank you.

This has to be the most nicely written message I've typed on here. :)
