Something I love in the first season is the way that Waldorf gives Statler a good smack in the face once in a while. Was this dropped later on? And why? It's great.

Also, I'm wondering, why is it usually Statler who leave teh box while Waldorf stays? Statler leaps out the box. Statler visits Valerie. Statler gets a face-lift from Venda-Face.

Intriguing, but, why?

Well, Waldorf is married. He probably has an obligation to not visit Valerie Harper, because of Astoria. And he has to keep the younger, spry one in line. Maybe? I just made that all up.

Waldorf is let out the box when he and Statler appear in At the Dance dancing together in the Twiggy episode (?)

They make it to the stage when they audition during the Steve Martin episode doing the "Varsity Drag"

Also, they get out togetherfor the Danny Kaye Episode when they leave the box to sit out back rather than being bored by a tuned clam-player.

Waldorf makes a rare solo sighting when he tries to ward off John Denver to save him from doing the show.

Yes, but AStatler is out of teh box when Waldorf says, "Did he jump?"

And anotehr time, "You fell!" "No, my top plate fell, I jumped after it."

So, Statler still totals up tops.

Waldorf is very violent, I find. He does a double chop to Crazy Harry's neck one time. And regularly hits Statler.

Way ta go Wal!

I like how both pick on each other instead of just the other muppets.

Agreed. I think they pick on anything that moves, lol.

"I think this show is starting to grab me."
"Well something is!!!"

I loved that bit...

Stange, he is my fav too. He seems to have a bit more life to him than Waldorf. Or maybe it's my dislike of men with moustaches...

Bea:boo:{Well, you know what they say, if you can't stand the moustache, get out of the....I don't know where I was going with that...]regard

also Statler's face scrunched up is way cooler that waldorf's distorted face (does that make sense or does it need more explanation?)
