Street Season 48
Sesame Street's 48th season
officially began Monday August 6 on PBS. After you see the new episodes,
post here and let us know your thoughts.

I love Alam Simsim!
The Shalom Sesame version of "It Sure is Hot!" is online again
This is not an international skit, but why did Sesame Street have to remake What is Friend in 2000...
And use the same music from that remake for this remake!
This makes no sense!
...anywho, the German version of "I Don't Want to Live On the Moon"
Damn, that sounds so unlike any Sesame song; it's really nice sounding.
Please refrain from posting not international skits in the international skits section.
Now, for a REAL international skit...
This Japanese clip of Ernie and Bert is back
It's totally worth it hearing Ernie saying "Sugoi!"
I can't comment on this video or leave a message in the user's Inbox. Is this taken from NHK?
The Japanese co-production aired on TV Tokyo so it's one of the two channels.
Seems that it's from the newer co-production. That skit is relatively new, around the time Sesame Street Japan was about to start.
On that subject, here's a clip from the Japanese dub of Elmo's Magic Cook Book.
Yeah, they even dubbed that Bam guy. Of course, the dub looks great for the Muppet characters, lousy for the live action humans.
I've got good news and bad news...
the ONLY Deena and Pearl skit on Youtube and it just has to be in Dutch.
That's not the only Deena & Pearl skit on Youtube. Skip to 4:43 and this time, it's dubbed in European Spanish.
It must be from 2004-2007.
I really don't see why SW doesn't release just one of these somewhere.
The Miami Mice sketch with The Count has been uploaded to Youtube, but in German. Skip to 18:59.
Here is some Sesam stuff with the Number Creatures.
This is probably the first I've seen of Sesame Street in Portuguese.
If I knew you Were Coming I'd've Baked a Cake 4 Language
French Ernie's voice is the worst most head splittingest, ear bleedingest thing I've ever heard.
Looks like Channel Hop has posted a Rechov Sumsum episode:
Another Rechov Sumsum clip that answers a question I was going to ask. Apparently, they did have some Owe Gustafson animations in other Sesame Street Co-Productions (it comes at the very end) which gets us...
That's right. A dub OF a dub.
Since the 1st anniversary of Jerry Nelson's passing is coming up in just (2!) 2 weeks, here's the rare 2-part skit where The Count withdraws his money from the bank in Portuguese (which was uploaded last year, and is followed by Water Pollution sketch of Willie Wimple) (That's 1! 1 language!) and German (which was uploaded yesterday) (That's 2! 2 languages! AH! AH! AH! AH! *Thunder and Lightning*). Like many of you fans out there, I hope to see the English version someday.
BEHOLD! German Dubbed Maria!
