Ah... yes...well... that's a segment that I rarely hear anyone talk about. Pretty unremarkable, actually. I agree with Sawings's quote on that video...

It's the late 70's. The staff is all, "We're running out of good ideas for Muppet inserts, we gotta churn 'em out fast - lessee, how many ways can we rip on Grover and get away with it? Hmm, we could also have Ernie do something with a snake ... oh yeah, we've also got plenty of prerecorded songs from the records that they could lip-synch to ..."

Seems they're using the Sesame English segments for Rechov Sumsum as well
They're actually sort of interesting in another language... especially since, you know... difference in reading causes them to have to flip the entire segment's visuals in reverse.

Okay.. this is weird.

Apparently, the Shalom Sesame Youtube account is starting to upload (not Hebrew dubbed, mind you) segments of the Bangladesh co-production.


Don't rightly see why.
