So I recently went to the exhibit at the Museum of Moving Image (http://www.movingimage.us/) and really enjoyed it. The only downside was that we weren't allowed to take photos throughout the exhibit . One thing that was cool was the fact that Mayor Michael Bloomberg loaned his personal Muppet look alike to the muse
um and it was on display in the lobby.

Plus, the coolest part of the whole thing is the fact the the museum is one block away from Kaufman Astoria Studios, where the film.....

So, throughout the time that the exhibit will be open, there will be guest appearances by MUPPETERS! Like Kevin Clash, Kathy Mullen, Fran Brill, etc.

Who else is planning on going?

I will be heading up there Sept. 24-25 for the exhibit, and I cannot wait to see it. I missed it when it was in my area a couple years ago (D.C.).

We saw this at the Mississippi Museum of Art in March of 2010, and got to meet Heather Henson, who was especially thoughtful and kind to my kids when she learned that we'd driven six hours to get there just before the museum was closing.

I too was upset about the no photo/no video policy. I scoured the internet when I got home and found a lot of photos, some of which were taken right there in Jackson MS where we saw it. So I downloaded the audiotour from the Smithsonian website and edited together a little highlight video using the stills.

Enjoy!
