He looks just like the real thing!
It happens the same here in Argentina. I think I could try with some non-slip mats, but I'm not sure about their thickness, and they surely would not be as cheap as buying the material.
And now for something completely different:
Recently we commemorated the loss of Jim Henson. We really need him. I share here an illustration I made time ago (I'm an illustrator). I hope you enjoy it:
Does anyone really know how tall is Kermit now or the real sizes of his head, mouth, arms? I want to try building my own Kermit Muppet but I'm not sure about those things. Thanks everyone!
What stitch do u use? I'm thinking of using a whipstitch or the Henson stitch if I ever get it down
He looks fantastic! Do you know the sizes for the head and body or they're just calculated from photos?
Thanks.. he was all machine stitched
Cheers mate!.. it was all just trial and error from photos
Wow I can barely see the seams. Which stitch is good for puppet making
Thats awesome. Easily one of the best replicas I've seen.
Kermit is 24 inches tall, with legs. I guess use your hand size as a guide for Kermit's mouthplate. Good luck.
What fabric did you use for the mouth, tongue, and collar ? I made a Kermit replica but it is not perfect,so if I make another,I know what to use . .
The body is fleece and the features are felt
Thanks so much.I did use antron fleece for the body but I used some other types of fleece for the features.
