Well I see this thread has mostly stopping being survey repsonses. But I've been behind on forum reading and I'm just now catching up, so I'm going to do a survey response anyway.

Yes, back before the last major redesign, I had the "text of articles appears black on a black background when I use Internet Explorer on the Mac" - but the site redesign fixed the problem and I don't use IE anymore anyway.

Nope, works dandy.

* What is your favorite part of Muppet Central?s site Content?

Mostly only read the news articles and the forums, so I guess they're my favorite parts!

* What areas of site content do you think could be improved?

Sometimes I wish there was more reference (like episode guides) for my one-stop shopping convenience, but really there are other good sites that have those and it's probably better to spend time on improving your strenghts instead of duplicating other folks' work. However, maybe you should have a link to other good episode guide sites on your episode guides page until you get your own set up, so that first-time visitors who find MuppetCentral can find them easily?

Also, I think it's a little non-obvious to some features of the website, such as knowing that reviews are under "articles" and the FAQ and Links are under "help" (I know this now, but I wonder if first-time visitors would realize it). Maybe you should have a site map or a table of contents linked to on the top page?

Just my off-the-top of my head thoughts. Overall the site's got a nice design.

The Flash menus are cute and I enjoy the occasional special menu, but (no offense to Jamie) overall I'm not a huge Flash fan and I don't really want to see you adding more and more of them and becoming too Flash-heavy.

Thanks for all the hard work you folks put into maintaining MuppetCentral and making it my primary Muppet web destination!

Sometimes when I scroll, the banner scrolls with it, and then when I scroll back up, it just creates this wall of banner....

It does it on Internet Explorer, I'm using Mozilla now and I haven't noticed it, but it does it when I look back through the responses with certain lines of the page.

More reviews/editorials/articles...of course that means someone has to write them, eh?

More pictures--a sort of archive that people could browse and find pictures or information about Muppets.

1) More reviews/editorials/articles....more "content" on the main page--give us a reason to go there instead of going straight to the forums.

2) Episode/Character Guides--whether that takes the form of outlines or biographies or encyclopedic entries; I know it would take a ton of work, but that's what a lot of people come here looking for, and it's just not here.

3) I like the idea of a Muppet Central Family Album--I can also see it getting out of control. I have a lot of friends here, and it would be fun to see that kinda thing set up.

The holiday/special occasion menus, and the new Smilies (probably not Flash, but I'm a moron)

I love Muppet Central, and I have for five years--it's great to see it grow and change. I think most of the changes have been for the better of the site and the Muppety Community.

It'd be nice to get a chat room of some kind going again--it would also cut down on some of the more "cluttered" threads. And rebuild some community.
