This outline takes place during the second season of the muppet show.

Cold Opening/ dressing room
Lucille ball gets confronted by a muppet ball named Lucille.

Introduction
Kermit introduces one of televisions first female stars dancing to the theme music from one of televisions best-loved classics.

Opening Number: "I Love Lucy" theme
Lucille Ball dances seductively while an all-pig orchstra performs the theme from her hit series.

Balcony
Statler and Waldorf remember watchin the first episode in it's original broadcast, and remember hating it as much as they hate the muppet show.

Backstage
Miss Piggy overhears a conversation between Kermit and a delivery man who has delivered a surprise package for miss piggy. kermit says that she wont know what is in the package untill later. miss Piggy doesn't want to wait.

Muppet Labs
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew invents a machine that can automatically decorate a room with wall paper (the machine is a big metal box with mechanical arms. there is a door on top of the machine. it is on a tv dinner tray.). beaker starts the machine, putting wall paper into the machine, but he presses the wrong button (the silver one, as opposed to the gold one) and the machine wraps beaker in wallpaper (his entire body is covered with wall paper).

Dressing Room
Miss Piggy wants Lucille Ball to give her some advice on scheming, but she says that she isn't really as good at scheing in real life like she is on television, so Miss Piggy tries to watch soe I Love Lucy reruns for refference.

Song: Good Vibration
Lobbock Lou and his Jughuggers sing on the beach instead of a ranch.

U.K. Spot: when april showers
Gonzo sings in the shower, which he calls april (and no, the shower can't move on it's own).

Introduction
Kermit introduces a classic television oment with a muppet twist.

Act
The swedish Chef makes the chocolate at the chocolate factory, and Lucille has to wrap the chocolate, but Luncheon Counter monster keeps eating the chocolates, distracting Lucille, and eventuall eats the entire machine.

Prop Room
Miss Piggy finds the package in the prop room. it turns out to be a bottle of Vitameatavegemin.

Backstage
Robin can't sing in the next number because he has a frog in his throat (Kermit: "that's cannibalism!"). Miss Piggy walks backstage, drunk. tells Bunsen to give her the package now (the vitameatavegemin was in the same package but was meant for somebody else). the present is a fur coat, and kermit says that he has to cancel her number.

Closing Number: When irish Eyes Are Smiling
Lucille Ball sings to three irish muppets with smiley faces for pupils (they are black dots with white eyes and smiles inside the pupils).

balcony
Statler says that irish eyes make him frown.

Good Night
Kermit thanks Lucille Ball for being on the show. Miss Piggy walks on-stage in her fur coat (and still drunk). they are joined by Lucille the Ball (from the cold opening), Beaker (still wrapped in wall paper) and Luncheon Counter Monster.

Ha! Robin with a frog in his throat. "That's cannibalism!" Oh, that's classic. Love the Muppet Labs. Actually, I love the whole thing. Great outline, minor muppetz.

If anybody is wondering who performs certain characters (besides regulars with regular performers), then Lucille the Ball is performed by jerry nelson (in a voice like Frazzles), Luncheon Counter Monster is also performed by jerry nelson (and in Frazzles voice yet again), and the irish muppets are performed by Nelson, Richard Hunt, and Louise Gold.
