Hiya, folks,
If anyone's in the Knoxville, TN area this weekend, come downtown for the Children's Festival of Reading on Saturday, May 31 from 10 am until 3 pm at the World's Fair Park. Sesame Street writer Mo Willems (who also wrote "Knufflebunny" and--one of my absolute favorite books--"Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!") is the featured author.
Lowell Cunningham, who created/wrote the "Men In Black" comic books that led to the movies, will also be there, along with a number of other folks. And an alien puppet parade! The events are all free, except for the Harry Potter-themed railroad excursion later in the afternoon.
