Nora: How's it coming?
Erin: Well, chapter five's up...and for chapter six, I'm turning the narration back over to you.
Scooter: So where's it going next?
Erin: The train station.
Beige: Where do the Fraggles come in?
Erin: They'll be on the train...in car 10. And Doc and Sprocket will be there, too.
Storyteller: Oh, very nice...but do we still get the radish stew?
Erin: You will...but probably in chapter eight. It depends.

Well... About 85% done with that story/gift for our dearest aunt. Think I'll go and crash before getting a start on that monster of a chapter tomorrow.

During the usual bedtime routine, a voice can be heard from the shadows.
UD: MC Dorms have been brought to you by the letter K and by the number 5.
Pleasant screams.

Erin: Oh...I feel the fanfic-writer prodding stick jabbing into my ribs...
Storyteller: (holding said stick) You said it. Where's chapter eight?
Erin: Writer's block, storyteller, writer's block.
Nora: What's the plot of that one?
Erin: You guys are sitting at a table in the dining car, reading files on crooks who could have made off with the Albatross.
Scooter: Who's the narrator?
Erin: I'd like it to be Fozzie...but that's what's holding me up. It's just that it's hard to write dialogue for him. Him and Miss Piggy.
Beige: So that's why you've given the narrating jobs to the more understated characters.
Erin: Right on. Scooter, you're easy to write dialogue for. You, your sister, Nora, Kermit...
Storyteller: Ah. Well, through in more dialogue from those characters. Now hop to it.
Erin: (sigh) Yes, miss.

Bryan: I can understand, Erin. Sometimes it's just hard to write a voice for certain characters all the time. Right, Snuffy?
Snuffy: ............
Bryan: I rest my case...

Erin: Very true, Bryan. And yet it all comes together somehow or other.
Storyteller: I see you've got the Fraggle Five in the dining car...very good.
Nora: Looks as if I'm the keeper of the train schedule or something.
Erin: Well, someone's got to be.
Beige: Now, is it just me, or did Fozzie just spot...
Erin: Shhh...okay, in the next chapter, it's back to you, Scooter.
Scooter: Great, what do I do?
Erin: Go for a walk on a station platform, overhear a weird phone call, and get on Sam the Eagle's nerves. That's all I can say without unveiling too much plot stuff.
Scooter: Ah.
Erin: (getting some notes) Now, I need your input on the final scene. I'm considering either you or Skeeter for this...(shows Scooter the notes)
Scooter: I see...(goes pale and starts to tremble) Oh.
Erin: If you're not up to it...
Scooter: Skeeter can do that. My nerves aren't that steely.
Erin: Fair enough. But you'll still get an important part. (goes back to writing)
Nora: Will we get to see Jim and the others again?
Erin: Of course. We'll at least see Richard again in chapter nine, and we'll see everyone in 12 a few chapters later.

Bryan: (bursts through the door) Happy new year, everybody!
Ernie: Oh, happy new year, Bryan!
Bert: Yeah, happy new year!
Bryan: I missed you guys. Did you have a good Christmas?
Big Bird: I had a great time back at my nest on Sesame Street. I got to be with Gordon and Susan and Maria and all my friends there.
Snuffy: And Bryan, we were on TV!
Bryan: Oh yeah. The special.
Big Bird: Didn't you see it?
Bryan: No, Big Bird. Unfortunately, where I was that night, there wasn't a TV. I'm so sorry. I really wanted to see it.
Ernie: Don't feel too bad about it. It should be available on DVD sometime.
Bert: Yeah, probably in time for next Christmas.
Bryan: Well, I'll look forward to it. I was so busy during the last couple months in my show. It's nice to settle back home and get into the swing of the Dorms again.
Cookie: Yeah, we miss you.
Bryan: What about you, Cookie Monster? How was your Christmas?
Cookie: Delicious! It me favorite holiday!
Ernie: I thought Halloween was your favorite holiday.
Bryan: No. He also said that Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday.
Cookie: Me like Christmas too. Especially with all the yummy Christmas cookies! Me monster of all seasons.

(Cookie Monster arrives on a winter scene, a snow-covered hill behind him, a kid building a snowman, another kid runs in, slips and falls on the ice)

In the winter, there lots of snow
It very chilly, but don't you know
It another season, another reason
For eatin' cookie

(he devours some cookies from the box in his hands, then leaves to arrive on a rainy spring scene, as kids run up the hill)

In the springtime, the birdies sing
The flowers bloom, and one more thing
It another season, another reason
For eatin' cookie

(more cookies eaten)

Me eat them every season
Me eat them day or night
When it come to cookie
Me got healthy appetite

(now he arrives at a summer scene, sun shining, a beach umbrella up, a kid with sunglasses on lies on a towel catching some rays, a girl eating an ice cream cone, a boy flying a kite)

In the summer, it very hot
Me go to the beach, me sweat a lot
It another season, another reason
For eatin' cookie

(he munches more cookies and leaves the scene, arriving on an autumn one, a man raking up some of the fallen leaves)

In the fall, the leaves turn brown
The wind it blows, the leaves fall down
It another season, another reason
For eatin' cookie

(more cookies eaten, then the screen changes to 4 Cookie Monsters, one in each season)

Winter: So if it's winter ...

Spring: Spring!

Summer: Summer!

Fall: Or fall!

Winter: It don't matter!

Spring: Hey, anytime at all!

Summer: It a season, me got a reason

Fall: For eatin' cookie!

Winter: All together now!

All: It a season ...

Spring: Oh yeah!

All: Me got a reason ...

Summer: Coming home!

All: For eatin' cookie!

(all 4 Cookie Monsters devour what's left of their cookie boxes ... including the boxes)

Fall: Me love the outdoors!

Big Bird: Wow, you're not kidding!
Cookie: So, how much longer til Easter?
All: (laughing)

*Smiles at finding Bryan back, as well as all three halves of the Toga/Prawny/YLa connection. Maybe they'll stick around this time. That reminds me... Need to ask Beth to contact everyone this week to see who'll be staying on for another term. Oh well. Think I'd better send Erin or Clauds a bat-gram to see if she can help with what ice cream flavor would be the particular flave of an Ace of Spades.

Hey Bryan! Glad to see you back. Your roomies sure did miss you.

Grover: We missed him too, Kyle.

I know. We sure did. Good to see you back. *pats Bryan on the back*

Murray: Any cookies left or did Cookie eat them all?

Everyone laughs

Oh Murray. *noogies him on the head*
