I appreciate you including characters from the book (like Ignorance and Want) that were left out of "The Muppet Christmas Carol" (still LOVE that movie though)- but about this casting....
"Are you telling me that my mom has got the hots for me?"- Fozzie McBear in "Bear (Left)
    to the Future".
    ("Bear (Left)
to the Future"?:) "Right, Frog in the past.":o)

Upon further consideration, this casting might work better if Kermit instead of Scooter as Mark. Like, Maureen/Piggy leaves Mark/Kermit for Joanne/Jill, keeping Piggy's frog-love going full-circle (and Mark is kind of the character who tries to hold things together and be the voice of reason, as much as he can, like Kermit). Still, I like the idea of Scooter as Mark. It could work either way.:);)

    One question:What's an ensemble?
  9. vettech28

    vettech28 Well-Known Member

An ensemble is a large group of extras in a play or a musical, they're usually needed for crowd scenes or group musical numbers.

*sees thread* could it be? It is! How have I not seen this thread before? *pinches self* nope, not dreaming.
This is something I literally think about far too often.

I know it's a missed opportunity to use a ham pun by making the lead a pig, but c'mon Kermit's the leader!
    Eliza: Annie Sue
    Burr: Nigel
Angelica: Miss Piggy. I stole this one from a Redditor, but I like it. It makes sense too because it causes friction between her and Annie Sue, and it would make sense that she would be in love with Hamilton (Kermit).
Peggy: Prairie DawnGeorge Washington: Sam the Eagle (duh)
    Phillip: Robin
    Laurens: Walter
Lafayette: Someone cool and fun, maybe Floyd? Clifford?
    Mulligan: Sweetums
Jefferson: Someone energetic, fun, flirty, and egotistical. Rizzo perhaps?
King George: Miss Piggy. Who says she can't play two people! They do recycle actors in the play, after all. Maybe Uncle Deadly.
    Maria Reynolds: Yolanda?

Unfortunately I couldn't find a place for Fozzie, Gonzo, or any of The Electric Mayhem.

Er, the female pig from The Saucy Little Bird on Nellie's Hat was  herself.
You also know Sesame has a Big Bad Wolf who could just as easily fill that role right? Eh, hope peoples has fun with this.
