I have been wondering lately if Leo, Grump, or any of the seven deadley sins were in that scene.

I also wonder why certain characters weren't there. In the behind-the-scenes thread about this scene, Was Once Ernie said that the Sam and Friends/ early Henson commercials characters probably weren't there because the pupepts were really old. I think it should also be obvious why Sweetums and mr. Snuffleupagus weren't there. But I do wonder about other characters. There were quite a few full-body characters who weren't there, including Thig, Splurge, The Mutations, and Sam the Robot. I don't know whether Splurge or Thig were still in existence or not, but I do know that the Mutations were still in working condition, and I think Sam the Robot was still in good condition (Sam had only been off Sesame Street for a few years at this point, though I don't know if the costume was destroyed or not).

Maybe it was a lack of puppeteers?

The SNL Muppets can be spotted in the upper left portion of the group. (You can see King Ploobis swinging his arm as he sings.) And I didn't see Annie Sue, but then again, my list isn't complete; she may have been too small to see.

Someone should create a visual guide for this scene, pointing out which character is where.

You mean sort of like the Wedding Seating Chart?

Man, that would be tough. That would be very difficult.
