A FAMILY GUY episode costs two million dollars to produce? That's how much H.R. fricken PUFNSTUF was over budget when they made that show!

Sometimes I feel like I failed at my life's dream. Other times, I feel like I dodged a friggin' bullet.

Oh. I wouldn't mind a pre-production job like character designer or storyboard or something. Just the actual animation is a pain in the freaking butt. And I've done actual pencil on paper stuff too. For all the times I complain about motion tweens and other short cuts in Flash, that's all the stuff I did. Granted. One person dabbling for several months on a single couple minute short while balancing other projects and barely getting the hang of the program is different than a full studio.

Still, I wish things went differently years ago. Even if it was a behind the behind the scenes bit.
