Just thought I'd share the good news with ya'll..
My husband and I have just purchased our first home!

I love it, I love it, I love it!
What a load of paperwork though! Sheesh!
It's a 1940's bungalow with hardwood floors throughout, Holywood style kitchen (robin egg blue, built in china cabinet), three bedrooms, big deck, big fenced in backyard and a carport. The basement is fully finished with an in-law suite for my folks....they get the big jacuzzi tub.
The owner has given us a lawn mower, two ladders, shelves, entertainment units, a bed, living room set, 2 dining room tables w/ chairs and a BBQ, amongst other things for 300 bucks. HELLO! Thank you!
We'll be moved in time for Christmas!
Any hints for first time home buyers, words of wisdom, etc.?
I hope one day I can get to live in a nice home, that'd be sooo cool.
