Well, I'm not entirely sure about this poem. I love to write and I wanted to write some muppet poems, but I'm not sure my writing style lends itself to the Muppet World. I wanted to do something humorous and ended up with this instead. Well, hopefully, you'll like it anyway.

A Dream Within A Dream

I dream
of lily pads on pond scum
tree branches reaching down
to shallow water
sunlight peaking out
between leaves
But this is not the swamp

This is the theater
No business like show business
Open the curtains
Light the lights
This was the dream
Millions of people happy

Excitement with a swish of velvet red
Tie it behind with a golden cord
Let the madmen loose on the stage

But still I can’t help but dream
of sitting back on my log with my banjo
contemplating the existential existence
of being green

Oh my goodness....this is just beautiful Daylight. Very nice and inspiring!

Would you mind terribly if I attempt to draw this poem?

Thanks so much.
I'd love to see what you could draw from it. Go ahead.
