hey everyone

i wanted to start a thread on props used for puppets and easy ways to make em....like right now i am trying to make a water proof floatable lilly pad for my frog to sit on while we film on a lake...and ideas im thinking styrofoam...but not sure if its water proof

If you buy one of those styrofoam coolers and cut it up that should work. Those were built to float, if I'm not mistaken.

Or you could get a sheet of closed-cell foam. It's like what they use on boats or floating toys.

Here's an example----they also have it at upholstery & car shops around me. It comes in sizes starting from 1/2 in
