About 10 years ago, I went to the Jim Henson exhibit at the Pittsburgh Children's museum. This was actually the second time I had been there. I thought you all might like to see some of the pictures I took. Since most of the pics are of Muppet Show/movie or Sesame Street characters, I figured it would be best to post them here. I already posted a couple Dark Crystal pics in the Fantasy Worlds section. Some pics are better than others quality wise, as I'm not a great photographer. I think a lot of these are poser puppets, but some of them were actually screen used.

You should definitely go to an exhibit if you ever get the chance. No, Fozzie and Scooter weren't there. the only Muppet show characters they had are the ones in the pictures. I'm sure they have a lot more at the bigger exhibits. This was just a small traveling thing at the Children's Museum. I probably spent 4 hours walking around looking at everything. I also have about 20 minutes on home video. I wish it would come back. Oh yeah, I also tried on one of Earl Sinclair's legs from Dinosaurs. It was pretty cool.

I wonder why. They work for me. Is anyone else not seeing them?

Oh, never mind. *blushes* I was first trying to copy/paste the links in the same I.E. window and they were giving me a Photobucket error page. If I just click on the links and allow a new I.E. window to open, I can see the images. And wow, what great images they are! I would have loved to have seen those up close and in person.

Thanks, I'm glad you like them. This might sound really corny, but seeing all of those in person was a magical experience for me. Being able to get within a few inches from some of them, the craftsmanship is truly incredible. I was surprised at how big Big Bird actually is. I had some other pics, but I can't find them. One was of a Muppet armadillo. Not sure what it was from. I'll have to look for them.

I saw the same exhibit in Minneapolis a few years back, but with a few differences, like there was Fozzie instead of Rowlf, and there was no Statler and Waldorf.
