Been reading the forum for a bit, but finally joined so I can ask a question. And introduce myself, below.
I know some foam puppets are created by coating the foam with a thick, plastic like substance that must be sprayed on or applied somehow, I am not sure... And I would greatly appreciate just some of the terminology so that I can search for the info, which I am sure is on this forum somewhere.
Whatever I did find regarding coating foam, sounded more like paints than an actual substance that dries onto the foam and can then be painted.

...I am a set designer for theater, originally from Israel and currently having a grand time in NYC working on whatever projects come my way, recently having done some off off b'way stuff as well as live events and tv related design.
I love puppetry and have made foam puppets before, but only ever covered them with fabric, and now looking to expand my abilities.
