Well, after two trips to NYC in two weeks, I can officially say that I've been to the Big Apple and don't have to go back for a few years. We had a wonderful time, but right now I'm jet lagged and a little bit more loopy than usual. So I'll try to keep myself under control.
To answer a bunch of questions that everyone else is asking me:
1) No, I'm not a millionaire.
2) Yes, I won some money.
3) I'm not allowed to say how much.
4) I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination.
5) I'll be on two different shows, airing in February.
6) Rubber Duckie got a LOT of screen time with Meredith Vieira (the new host), and so did Melissa...and so did five Fisher Price Little People that I made for Meredith. She thought they were finger puppets, but hey, I'm not gonna correct her.
7) If I were to play the game again, I wouldn't change anything as far as my strategy--but I WOULD go for a different set of questions!
Anyway, that's all the questions I can answer about the show. Aside from sitting in the Green Room for two solid ten-hour days, every part of the experience was a blast. And I look !@#$ good on television.
While in NYC, we saw a lot of stuff--really packed in our days there. Because of the show's shooting schedule, we weren't able to catch a Broadway Show or Letterman or anything like that, which was sad, but we got over it. The best part of the trip (including better than winning the money) was something that happened on the last day...I'll tell y'all about it in another post. Possibly in a few minutes. The 6-Month old Baby Boy needs some attention.
