Is there a difference between banning and suspension?
Like, if you're only suspended it's a temporary exile from the forum as a discipline. But once you earn yourself a banning you can never have another chance. At least that's the way I assume it works. Am I right?

Mostly yeah. Though the person who got themselves banned could always come back and reregister under a different name. Seen it with all the ones I've been booting out in the two months since my mod powers activated.
