Check this rare clip!
Uh, what is this clip about?
Kermit's trying to persuade the viewers to support the PBS station and reads a list of how much things cost for the shows they produce. As he names them, Cookie Monster pops up and eats the equipment.
Ah... Okay, thank you.
It always used to creep me out whenever monsters would eat random objects like that... They would never be able to pull it off today.
It's very similar to the old monster eating the computer sketch, isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if Jim himself wrote that bit.
This was a 1978 (not 80's as it says there) GENERIC video short
for 'all' the PBS stations to run - NOT just for that TV station
..and it ran during THIS!
Lol, dig Kermit's crazy threads!
How though? That special was on CBS.
That Wiki page has a typo of 'CBS' - which should be 'PBS'...
That was very cool. Thank you for sharing.
That was funny. I doubt it was from the 1980s, as the Kermit puppet has very noticible felt texture, and a new material was used for the puppet starting with The Muppet Movie.
