As someone with interests in both visual art and graphic design and television shows such as Sesame Street, I have been fascinated by the way miscellaneous details such as opening sequences, themes, and backers' credits on the show have evolved over time.
Last weekend, I found myself inspired enough to throw together a Sesame Street "graphic & presentation history" table, plus a similar (if occasionally incomplete) effort for other classic CTW shows.
I didn't watch Sesame Street at all before 1987 or from 1992-97, so I'm often relying on what I've read here, on the archives of the alt.tv.sesame-street newsgroup, and elsewhere as reference.
I can't vouch for perfect acccuracy and it's very much a work in progress, but it's a very fun puzzle to piece together!
I'd welcome any comments and corrections.
