Episode 2096 - The Adults Meet Snuffy
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Big Bird is excited for the adults to finally meet Snuffleupagus! He remembers many times when everyone assumes Snuffy is just an imaginary friend. Big Bird tells Snuffy his plan. When he yells the secret word "food," the adults will rush to see Snuffy. The plan doesn't work the first time when Snuffy leaves to tell his mom! Bob insists Snuffy is imaginary. Gordon suggests having a friend keep Snuffy in place next time. Elmo volunteers! Phil Donahue asks everyone's thoughts on the secret word as the adults debate it. During the debate, Big Bird shouts the secret word! Everyone is frustrated that Big Bird and Elmo were just practicing their plan. When Snuffy returns, Elmo helps hold him in place as Big Bird says "food". The adults were shocked to meet Snuffy and sorry for doubting Big Bird.
