Yeah! I got the joke! Man, Beaker... that was incredably funny, and I don't know why!!!

I once thought of making fun of the Palistinian version of Sesame Street, but it was too harsh, mean, and very politically incorrect!

But you have to admit, the 1974 Villa Sesamo was creepy! I mean, they used non-henson style puppet characters that looked like Sid and Morty Krofft would have done, and I bet the translator's and dubbs were AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off!

Of course, that's why Shalom Sesame Scared me, the voices were off, especially the, "! 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12," singing! Very fast, and very off!

I do not know, and frankly I don't WANT to know. Try looking at different video rental places for Shalome Sesame Videos. It's on the video called "Passover!"

Glad ya like my irreverent sense of humour. And just for the record it usually bugs the crud out of me when people make mean or inappropriate jokes involving our beloved Muppets...but a psuedo unauthorized cheap arse Sesame production from the 70's, well...

Btw, did the Palestinian Sesame by chance happen to have Crazy Harry in it?

(sorry, the foolish ways of world woes lend themselves to harsh satire)

No.. actually, the whole thing was the characters were literally puppets of their government or something like that, and the special guest was Arafat, who was shaking and nervous. Of course, this was a knee jerk reaction to the terrorist attacks. However, I did do a commercial pardoy called "Terror Flakes" and James Hound vs. Bin Ladin comic (i can't tell you what I called Bin Laden, since it is very inappropriate to list here!)

Knee Jerk comics are always good for a joke!

Yeesh...well I guess international ctw knows better than us what works regionally.

So I take it were not going to be seeing this Palestinian show on American TV anytime soon? I think Americans have been clouded by the media and terrorists onto their colelctive thoughts when it comes to world issues.

I still think there should be a Mujahedeen holy fighter Crazy Harry that would come with strap on explosives and a mini version of the Q'uran. "Now with jihad kung fu grip!" ^_^
