Why a seperate thread? Maybe its an ego thing...but I smell conjestion. I know Im getting high off the series 3 pix revealed today...tho I suspect it may just be the paint fumes!

...and man, tell me that swedish chef playset doesnt look sweet!

However I would have to agree with Luke...that Lew Zealand looks like a job on ebay under Custom figures.

And hey, is that a Muppet cake? So does this mean we have new unnanounced Muppet figures? Though those muppet vegetables are M.I.A., I cant wait to see what the Lobsters look like!

A *drug* reference on MC?! Why shut yer mouth Mr. Nasty. To quote a famous trouble-maker I know... wouldn't that be better for TP? Hah!

These are nice, but there are many flaws I'm not too happy with:

Scooter: There's something wrong with his eyes, I have no idea what.

Lew Zeland: His color is off. He needs to be more orangish (is that even a word?)

Rowlf: I don't think he should be wearing shoes. Just doesn't look

Swedish Chef Kitchen: Nice, but I never remember seeing it like that on the show.

Other than that, they're pretty cool. :)

Hey, that was a G rated intoxication reference;) (Who knows all about paint fumes from endless nights of miserably trying my hand at custom figures) Better suited for TP? Hey, youre beginning to sound like me now!

I would agree...thank goodness for plenty of revisions before 1st quarter releases!

Lew Zeland: His color is off. He needs to be more orangish (is that even a word?)<<<

oh yeah, definately needs some of his orangishness. The suit sculpt I think is good.

Rowlf: I don't think he should be wearing shoes. Just doesn't look

Yeah, sans shows would be good...but this and Chef to me are th emost perfect looking of these.

Swedish Chef Kitchen: Nice, but I never remember seeing it like that on the show<<<

Well remember, all the sets except for Swinetrek are pretty much history revisionism. I will say I would have kind of liked a slightly less grainy industrial Muppet labs, but thats just me.

Yeah Scooters eyes have been pointed out to me and i'd have to agree they are a touch oversized compared to his head, BUT its a minor quibble and it may well be the angle and the lens used to take the picture. I'd like to see other angles. The jacket makes it a must buy though anyway and the texturing is cool.

Phew - i'm glad someone else agree's with me on Lew Zealand. I was beginning to think it was just me. Yeah i think it's a mess, nuff said. I hope maybe the character designs from Henson can be studied a little better before they make the actual figures.

I think Scooter looks off to me. Lew seems fine, but there is something off kilter with the gofer. Don't know what, but I love him anyway.

I dunno what it is with Lew and Me. When i saw it i just kinda thought it looked like something one of the more talented people here had made out of Sculpey - it just kinda lacks definition for me, and the features have been over-emphasised. Just my opinion.

I think maybe we were spoiled with the first wave - a lot of the sculpts besides Chef look a little rougher round the edges compared to the first lot.

i think it's that he's standing up straight. think about it, any time i can remember seeing Scooter's legs, they were bent at the knees. or maybe it's just my imagination and that's just the way i always pictured him.

i think Lew looks just fine...he could maybe use a touch up on the face, but if they were to release that as is, i probably wouldn't complain.

See, I wasn't blown away until I saw the actual figures in my hand this go round, so maybe they will look fine when I see them up close. Don't get me wrong I love them, just those little fan nit pickings that everyone has. I love the pictures, I'm excited, but Scooter just looked a little "off". It was weird seeing Lew's full body too.

    These are great!

I love the Kitchen and The Swedish Chef is perfect. I already invision putting my Camilla in the pot and the other coming out of the over. Lew Zealand searching in the freezer for his fish. The Lobster Bandits attacking Piggy as she tries to eat the cake and Rizzo somewhere with all his pack in cheese.

I was very worried i might not get Tux Rowlf before as he was an exclusive so putting him into the regular line, so now when i buy the case to make sure i'll get the Zoot repaint i'll have 3 Tux Rowlf's and i was worried i wouldnt have any. The only thing i don't like about Rowlf if him having shoes, i mean Kermit hasn't got shoes and he looks great, i thought i'd have Rowlfs feet and hopefuly Fozzies visible on the Tux figure. Also Rowlf's eyes should be in the middle but still he looks great.

Scooter is the head to big or is it just me, but apart from that it looks great.

Lew Zealand, a little more orangy

And Zoot, i don't see any faults in him, he looks great.

Keep up the good work Palisades.

Scooters eyes look to far apart and one oh his arms his positioned back a little. But I still love the figure!:)

I agree. His head looks too big.

However, other than that, I thought he looked great (and I can't wait for Zoot and the Chef. They are so great looking!)...

I hope they leave Rowlf as is. Please don't change a thing, Palisades. I love this Rowlf figure! He's my absolute favorite!

Something I've noticed in the kitchen; Notice how high the counter is next to the Chef. Supposedly he's one of the tallest, biggest figures. Kermit's going to need a (toad) stool in order to be high enough! Haha. Wocka Wocka

Seriously though. Will these guys even be able to reach the counter?

The kitchen is currently about 15% too large compared to the Chef. Expect a percentage reduction to occur in production to even that out. They were sculpted in two separate locations, hence the screw up. You are the first person to notice that though...GOOD EYE.

Although i don't have any playsets, which is a mere technical detail, LOL - one of the things that i most like about the line is that the playsets are large, chunky and more interactive. I've seen the Muppet Labs and it was just so much more than any of the Playmates sets - it actually looks like something that can really be played with and i don't see that in the Simpsons line. I looked at the Kwik-E-Mart and KBBL Radio playsets and theres basically enough room for the figure to stand and thats it, nothing much in the way of accessories - they look so flat. I'm glad the Muppet's didn't end up going this way, the interactivity of the Chef's kitchen is so cool - and the price points between Simpsons and Muppet playsets aren't THAT far off so it's quite an achievement !

I agree about the sets, I actually have all of my figs in Muppet Labs right now although Beaker is technically in the pressure tank, but he looks funny being sucked into it, so it's okay. Bunsen and Kermit are behind the counter. Piigy is in the backgorunf looking on and Dr. Teeth is on the other side (next to Bunesen) also enged in the conversation between the Frog and Dr. Honeydew. And I found and ordered the two rat figurines from the the MTI set a few years back so I have Muppet rats too who are just abotu to scale. I can' t wait to get the other playsets and put all the guys in where they belong!!! ;-)
