Hey Ben,

This is Grant Harding, who you met at Puppets Up this summer.

One idea that comes to mind is what they did on the old marionette TV show "Stingray" (by the same people who did "Thunderbirds"). For underwater scenes, they had a narrow fish tank between the camera and the puppets, so it would look like the puppets were really underwater.

I don't know if this would apply to the sort of thing you're doing, but I figured I'd suggest it since nobody has yet.

Good luck with the pilot! When are you shooting? (Need any extra hands? :smile:)
