I really enjoy this song, as well as the skit as a whole:

I guess I just love how much energy the puppeteers put into their performances, I also love their harmonizing in the song. The whole thing just looks like everyone involved had so much fun doing it, and whenever I watch it or even just listen to the album version, it makes me feel really good.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned in the AM Appreciation Thread that it's a favorite of mine too.

I just now realized the version you linked includes the additional background vocals during the refrain, which, admittedly, I don't particularly care for, but eh, it's not that big a deal.

But otherwise, yes, I agree with how energetic (particularly Marty) the performers are, which of course, makes the AMs seem all the more lively and spirited. The father kind of looks a little like Woody Allen though (which makes sense in a way, considering Telly's always been regarded as the Woody Allen of Muppets).

Here are a few other songs I enjoy:

Sesame Street:
"Things That I remember"
"I Wonder"
"Sing Your Synonyms"

"Once is Not Enough" (as I mentioned in my previous post)
"Born to Add"
"Telephone Rock"

And far too many more to list.

Muppet Movies:
"Rainbow Connection" (How original, I know :smirk:)
"Life's a Happy Song"
"Something So Right"
"I'll Give You What You Want"

"Room in You Heart For Love" - This one is actually an unreleased song sung by Bunsen Honeydew. It was originally intended to be in "A Muppet Christmas Carol"
"The Happiness Hotel"
"Hey a Movie!"

Fraggle Rock:

"Children of Tomorrow" (from the episode "Tune for Two")
"All Around the World"
"Come and Follow Me" -
(originally appeared in "Beginnings", although it was used in later episodes)
"Ragtime Queen" - (from "Mokey's Funeral")
"Dream a Dream and See"- (from "Boober's Dream")
"Pass it On" - The whole cast (from "The Perfect Blue Rollie")
"There's a Promise"- (from "The Bells of Fraggle Rock)
"Pukka, Pukka Squeetily Boink" - ("Wembley's Wonderful Whoopie Water")
"I'm Never Alone"- ("Boober Rock")

Pop songs: "Don't Dream it's Over" by Crowded House
"500 Miles(I'm Gonna Be)" by The Proclaimers
"Viva La Vida" by Coldplay - Oh my gosh, I love this song so much. The instruments, the violins, the lyrics, the vocals, just everything gives me chills every time I listen to it
"Blank Space" by Taylor Swift- I know what you're gonna say, "Whaaat? A Taylor Swift song??! Was he bonked on the head like one of Marvin Suggs' Muppaphones?", call it a guilty pleasure. And no, i'm not much of a Taylor fan.

"In My Life" by The Beatles
"For No One" by The Beatles
"From Me to You" by The Beatles
"She Loves You" - Originally performed by the Beatles, but I prefer the version from The Muppet Show:

"Act Naturally" - Once again I like the Muppet version better then the original, lol:

"Imagine" by John Lennon
"I'll Follow the Sun" by (you guessed it!) The Beatles once again
"Demons" by Imagine Dragons

Instrumental scores for TV shows:
"I Am the Doctor" composed by Murray Gold for Doctor Who:
"Clara's Theme" Another song from Doctor Who. It's beautiful. Murray Gold is a genius!

Animated TV shows:
"Giant Woman" from Steven Universe (the song isn't nearly as perverted as it sounds)

"Peace and Love" from Steven Universe (again)
"Here Comes a Thought" from Steven Universe
"Love Makes the World Go 'Round" by The Powerpuff Girls

"Just An Old Fashioned Lab Song"
(i'm not actually sure what it's called) from Dexter's Laboratory
