It's in previews right now, but it looks like a neat (albiet short) ride:

The second one has some brief pre-show footage. And if my eyes aren't deceiving me, it has Honkers doing the "dramatic sting" horns, which is a gag I'm surprised they haven't done before (or have they?)

Also, brief cameo by...Martians!

Dang, ya beat me to it.

Anyway, here's another POV video:

If you look carefully, you can see Little Bird making a cameo as well (at the beginning when the spaceship/car prepares to launch).

This is probably Jerry Nelson's last performance as The Count. And the last project with Kevin Clash before that stupid fiasco a couple of months ago.

This is why I wish Universal had the theme park rights to Sesame in the States, so we can get awesome stuff like this.

This video has some footage from the pre-show:

...featuring a certain someone as the announcer....

Here's a short clip from the ride's opening ceremony earlier today:

Is it just me or did Elmo sound different before and after the musical number? Seeing that it's been months since Kevin retired from Sesame, and months since we've seen or heard anything new with Elmo, does this mean they've finally got a new performer? (I read somewhere that John Kennedy was up for taking on the role, could this be him?)

It sounds more like Peter Linz, he has a very Tutter-like voice.

Peter Linz Elmo sure sounds like Peter Linz. I wonder what John Kennedy's sounded like.

That's most definitely Peter Linz. I guess we'll have to see if this is official, another main character couldn't hurt for Peter and Elmo would most certainly be in very good hands. But again, this is a wait and see situation.
