Here's yet another outline for the fictional Sesame Street series "Sesame Street 2.0", aimed at older fans. For those who don't know, it was my april fools joke back in 2012. Here's that thread: http://www.muppetcentral.com/forum/...eet-to-target-older-audiences-directly.50795/

Scene 1
Prairie Dawn tries to write a pageant about illnesses. She sings about chicken pox, measles, and mumps, but can't think of a rhyme for the flu.

Inserts:
  • Man recites poem about animals that took his clothes
  • "Rhyme Out" with Big Bird, Savion, and Gina
  • "Fat Cat"
  • An alligator learns that an elephant never forgets

Scene 2
Still struggling to come up with a rhyme about the flu, Prairie Dawn decides to take a break and watch the news.

Inserts:
  • Kermit News: Don Music - "Mary Had a Bicycle"

Scene 3
Prairie thinks of words that rhyme with "flu", like stu and glue and blue, but can't think of a good enough verse... and against her better judgement imitates Don Music, but after banging her head on her piano, she gets amnesia.

Inserts:
  • Remembering bread, milk, and butter
  • "Write it Down" (vaudeville version)
  • Grover the Messenger
  • King of 8
  • Jazz #8
  • Bert and Ernie: Sandbox Game
  • Henson #8
  • Candy Man

Scene 4
Big Bird, Elmo, Maria, and the Two-Headed Monster all try to remind Prairie Dawn of who she is, with no luck.

Inserts:
  • Cat struggles with food while owner talks on the phone
  • "A New Way to Walk" (celebrity version)
  • Simon Soundman: Weather Around the World
  • "That Grouchy Face" with James Taylor
  • Nancy the Nanny Goat
  • "The Letter N"
  • Spider-Monster: The Musical
  • Roosevelt Franklin and friends recite poems about trying
  • "Frog Struggle Song"
  • Teeny Little Super Guy: Egg Beater
  • Bert and Ernie: Remembering String

Scene 5
Prairie still can't remember who she is. Bruno brings over Oscar, who taunts her in an attempt to remind her, but she gets so annoyed she bangs her head on her piano, restoring her memory.

Inserts:
  • Super K Cereal
  • K-kiss
  • Ferlinghetti Donizetti reads a poem about three little kitties
  • Mad Painter #8
  • Octopuses Garden
  • Triangles at the museum

Scene 6
At night, Prairie Dawn tells Hoots the Owl that she's happy she has her memory back... But is frustrated that she still can't figure out a way to end her pageant.

Very good!! (Somehow I can picture Prairie getting frustrated. Not banging her head on the piano like Don Music, but there's always a first time, right?)
