Yes, it's a very soothing song. I got my brother to learn it when he started playing guitar about 12 years ago. :cool:

Yeah, that might be a good idea. Like Manda, I knew what the thread was about immediately from the title, but if it has the potential to offend, changing the words should solve the problem. The thread itself is nothing offensive.

Well, after watching reruns of M*A*S*H for awhile, I assume there are 11 different versions of Suicide is Painless, because it sounds like they produce a new version for every season.

I hadn't really noticed the differences between seasons, though they do have a "sad version" that they play after a particularly poignant episode ending.
