I like to get those cheap gloves at the dollar store and a knee-high tube sock, attach them together, and that lets you have a sweat-guard of sorts.

Sunglasses, leather jacket (You could be like Fonzie on Happy Days)....seriously though...this is a good question...I thought about using a fan back stage but it is very distracting to the puppeteers. Not so great for extra sound on the microphones either. Does anybody use fans?

Get a fishing vest and those plastic boxes with fluid in them that you can re-freeze to put in the vest pockets and wear that to keep cool.
