Does anybody remember the Teeny Little Super Guy? He was a person drawn on a cup! I remember parts of the song very well, i cant remember it all though.......

(Narrator) - Ladies and gentlemen, the teeny little super guy....

i forget the start of the song, but somewhere in it, it goes,

Dont look in the sky
Dont look in the sea
He's inside of you and me
(Did I ever tell you about the time.....)
You cant judge a hero by his size,
Just a Teeny Little Super Guy.....

Teeny Little Super Guy,
Pops right up before your eyes.
He's no bigger than your thuuuumb,
"Snap your fingers, here I cooome!"

Don't look in the sky,
Don't look in the seeea,
He's inside of you and meeeee.
"Did I ever tell you about the time--?"

You can't tell a hero by his size,
"I'm just a teeny little super guuuuy..oh, yeeeeah..."

There ya go---I got that from Win MX.

I definitely remember that. It was one of the first things that got me interested in stop motion animation. It always amazed me how the cup would come up out of the table.

Funny story about the cup going in and out of the table....

My mum remembers this story from when I was about 5 years old but I dont remember a bit of it,
She said that once I broke a glass with my hands because I was trying to make it go into the table like teeny little super guy, I still have the scar of where the glass has cut into my hand. Shows how influential Sesame Street can be to kids.:excited: :smirk:

The Teeny Little Superguy series is, and has always been, my favorite of Paul Fierlinger's SS contributions because of the excellent combination of 2D and 3D animation.

By the way, I added something new to my trade list: Paul's new special Still Life With Animated Dogs, in case anbody wants to see it. I'd recommend it.

I remember Teeny Little Super Guy.

You know, that's what my mom used to call my brother when he was like 2 years old.

I wonder if I can use this to my advantage someday...

LOL!

It's either the fact that I have way too much snot in my head, or it's because I didn't get any sleep last night (and today I had to go to work and face the evil, evil, evil Boy Scouts. They are evil)...

That sketch I remember really well. I don't remember the names of all the characters but I remember the plot lines for most episodes. There was a baseball episode and there was one where a girl lost her hat in the middle of the street and it got run over by a car:

What's that on your perfectly good hat?

A perfectly good tire track.
