I hate feeling so helpless...

I should have known it was a trap...

But if there was an impostor me, there could be impostor everyones....

I guess all we can do is to be really careful and keep a close eye to each other...

I know I'm the last bat demon...er...naturally born one...but...why are they so interested in me? There has to be stronger monsters out there that would be of more interest...

I don't know but bat demons are among the stronget monsters, aren't they? And you have powers other monsters don't seem to have. Perhaps it has something to do with that?

Wait a minute, you can remove monster powers with your death form. Perhaps the scientists knew about this and want to use you to steal our powers...

So then why make a copy of me?

Because it's less likely a copy would betray them? If you hadn't said the scientists had hybrids in their lab, I would say they are on the side of the hybrids and would want to kill bat demons...

I thought the hybrids were all gone, unless the scientists made more.

The problem was that the artificial ones were so violent they killed each other...and then went after everything, including the scientists

They are gone, I killed the last hybrid who was after you. Perhaps hybrids and scientists used to work together until the hybrids were nearly all wiped out. The scientists tried to recreate them but failed.
But I don't now why they would do it, except if there's some kind of benefit...

*sigh*

Well, the impostor you said something about stealing your shadow powers. I don't know if they returned to you or if they were just copied. Maybe you should try using them?

I really don't feel like I have enough strength...

(Don't blame me, I slept for only three hours yesterday )

Just rest for today then, don't overexert yourself. you're alive and the impostor is gone, that's what really matters.

I hope my strength returns...I don't like not being able to move that much, stuck in bed...
