I don't get what I'm doing wrong...

*starts flying again higher than before and goes a few feet before falling face first*

*Spots Johnny in Dragon form having trouble flying. Thinks* I should go over and help him the way Wsna helped me learn to fly. Oh! I know! I'll try to teleport over there! *Focuses hard on a spot on the ground by Johnny and Yuna and vanishes. Moments later she appears in the air a ways above her intended spot. She plummets and hits the ground before she has a chance to open her wings. She gets to her paws, with a dazed shake of her head and looks at Johnny* I saw that you needed help flying. I have a few tricks that...that my sister taught me that have really helped me.

Yeah...*snorts, blowing sand out of his nose*

I'm fine...I'm starting to think I'll never be able to fly...

Yes I can! *Spreads out her wings* Now Rachel taught me these tricks. One of the most important things to do is to focus on your wings. Feel them, inside and out. Feel yourself move your wings up and down, up and down. *Demonstrates, hovers in place, says* If you can at least hover for a few seconds straight, you'll have accomplished something. But don't feel bad if this takes a few tries, though, it did for me.

Well, I can hover...kind of...

*flaps wings and hovers a bit, but is obviously struggling and falls*

Could it be because I'm not a natural dragon and got this form in a freak accident? And why it hurts so bad to change?

This freak accident may also account for the pain it causes you to become a dragon. No, not may, does. I...I have a bit of experience in that regard.

I'm a demon, and part of my nature is the ability to gain certain forms by absorbing the dna of something...a while ago by body was possessed by an evil dragon, causing my body to absorb some of it's dna. It actually stayed inactive until some scientists were doing experiments on me and accidentally activated it.

I've always thought it was because non-dragons aren't meant to be able to turn into them...

Well...that is true, in some cases. In others, problems can occur because of situations that scar you for life in certain ways. *She hesitates for a long moment before giving a small nod* Something like that happened to me and...and Dr. Field, she's my older sister, back in October. To make matters short, it was night, and nothing could be seen by any non-monsters, so how a young 12ish boy say me and Rachel I'll never know. But he grabbed a gun and came out to shoot us. It was only his stepping on a twig that kept us alive, but we still got shot, and I am still trying to gain a control over some of my powers because...well, if it hadn't been for Rachel, I would've died, and it was that that mixed up some of my powers. Even all of the focusing in the world has not gotten me to teleport properly, not that I ever really have.

My past has been...pretty bad. Constantly being experimented on by scientists...I have a bit of a problem where I can't control transforming in my sleep, and often wake up in a different form than the one I went to sleep in...all because the scientists used some kind of formula to force me into different forms to study while I slept...

*looks up at the sky*

I'm gonna try one more time...

*starts flapping wings and hovers a few feet above the ground before moving forward a few feet*

*keeps flying, but due to how much energy he used up yesterday, ends up trying a bit too hard and goes unconscious*

*falls to the ground...somehow returning to human form in the process*

*smile when Johnny manages to fly*

*gasp when he falls to the ground and run over to him*

*sit next to him, placing his head on my lap*

Yes! Yes! That's it!... Johnny! Oh my stars! *Rushes over to Johnny, changing into her Fraggle form in the process. Calls to Rachel telepathically*. Sis! You need to get over here, it's important.
Rachel: Coming *Appears moments later*

(aaaaand I'm done for the night. Have a final tomorrow at 8 won't be on much tomorrow either)

*makes some weak squeaking sounds*

*frown and whisper his name*

I'll bring him home, he needs rest. Can you teleport back to the apartments?

Johnny? That was a great first step, but I think that that should be all for today. Yuan? My sister here can help you with Johnny.
Rachel: All I want to do is to give you this *Gives Yuna a white necklace*. I heard from Melissa that Johnny changes forms in his sleep, so this necklace should help to control that more. I assume that you have your own healing methods for Johnny, but if you want, I could do a little healing right here. *Readies a healing spell and sets it around Johnny*. Just tell it to heal and it will. *Leaves*
Edit: After what Johnny just did? Yeah, I can try. *Focuses hard and vanishes from sight. Moments later she arrives successfully in her apartment. Telepathically to Yuna*. I'm back, and I hope that Johnny is ok. Tell him that I can continue to help him fly if he feels the need to.

*take the necklace*
