I like how you described it as "sick, demented, perverted". Honestly so many other comedies are just like this, but this one happens to have puppets. There's more to the story then puppets doing it and killing people.

    It's nothing like Sesame Street.

Oh yes, I know, and I love it!

It's just... comparing it to Sesame Street is a little... odd.

Sesame Street and Happytime Murders Similarities and Differences:
    They both feature puppets

    Differences:

Sesame Street is a very successful children's TV show on HBO that teaches kids the alphabet and other early important life skills

The Happytime Murders is a R rated film made by the Henson Company and STX Films. The film features scenes of Drug use, Violence, Sex, Prostitutes and Extremely foul language.

So yeah I think they are pretty similar

Yeah, comparing it to any family entertainment is odd. But if you did, Great Muppet Caper would probably be the closest comparison in terms of story.

You could add a Kermit / Piggy sex scene and you’d really be similar.

Sorry Anthony, if it's on another page then it doesn't exist. Those are the rules. ;)

But in all seriousness, isn't it a bit odd we haven't gotten any reviews yet, considering the movie comes out in just four days? Or do reviews tend to come out later?
