Exactly. It's Bill. No need to freak out, hokay.
  2. Muppetfan55 New Member

Exactly. That IS Bill doing Pepe.

And I agree, no need to overreact.
What? Just because Pepe sounds slightly different to you, you automatically assume that its Artie?

That is not only unfair and malicious, its also childish.

For those who are interested, I found a video that shows some of the highlights from the announcement of the "Give a day, get a Disney day" promotion.

Seriously, I don't think we need to worry about Steve anymore.

I think its bill , it could be someone who can just copy that style of voice because he never said much, but i doubt it.

    Good to see Steve.

    ...

Whitmirewhitmirewhitmirewhitmi--- phew! Okay, that one's alot harder to do.

    Kermit's back!

At first it didn't sound much like Steve, but when he yelled "RAISE THAT WALLLLLLL!" I was convinced it was!

These are AWESOME. Sweetums on the beam is one of the most genius things I've seen involving Muppets in YEARS! Miss Piggy on the beam was stunning!

Or maybe it was Jerry. Could it be possible he decided to perform Robin once more for old time sake? Just a thought.
  10. Daffyfan2003 Active Member

So that was Steve as Kermit? The one I saw only had one Kermit line so I couldn't tell. I need a little help finding the one with Robin. I clicked on the link someone posted here, but I still get the selection of videos. What was the title of the one with Kermit & Robin? That might help me out a bit there.
  11. theprawncracker Well-Known Member

That was DEFINITELY Steve as Kermit. The link Muppetfan55 posted was LIVE yesterday, and that is most definitely Steve Whitmire. Welcome back, Kermit. Great timing. :)

Oh, that is just wonderful! I was so worried about Steve. It's great to know he is alive and well, and still bringing Kermit to life for us! I'm just thrilled!

gotta say i felt piggys pain when she smacked her head

That leads to the question - where's Kismet? :o
  15. theprawncracker Well-Known Member

*laughs* Indeed it does. I hope that he and Lady Gaga fell in love and are living creepily ever after with little, weird sounding and awkwardly twitchy babies. :concern:

That may be the funniest thing I've heard in a long time!
  17. Muppetfan55 New Member

    I watched it again.
Pepe does NOT say "you". He DOES say "ju".

It is Bill Baretta, no question.

And yes, it IS most definitely Steve doing Kermit for those ads as well as the live ceremony that took place on Sept. 29, 2009.

No offense guys, but the paranoia has got to stop. People are starting to hear things.

Twitchy tadpole people are coming for us!

Ouch, I totally overreacted! Sorry about that! I found out I was listening through really bad speakers. It does sound a little weird anyway, but I think that I made a BAD, BAD move and now Crazy Harry is going to blow me up.

Exactly... he didn't sound right ONLY because he had an odd tone in his voice. I checked twice... it is him... just sounds a little off.
