    David was gone

    Hi!

Does anyone recall an episode where David went to live with his Grandmother? Apparently, Northern Calloway died when that episode aired in January 1990 so it was too late for the producers to explain his death to veiwers. Does anyone recall skits, cartoons or films that were in that episode?

I don't remember that episode, but Iv'e heard a lot about it. I never even knew they mentioned David after he was gone. I do know that usually when a charachter disapears like Olivia, Savion, Carlo, Uncle Wally, They'll just write them out and act like they never exsisted. I don't think there would have been anything wrong with just coming right out and explaining the "real" reason David wasn't around. It worked in the Mr. Hooper episode, and it had been 6 years since that episode, so most of the kids that were currently watching never saw that episode.
