they played this song at my high school prom.. and because I didn't listen to current music (and still don't), it was the only song I knew .. I haven't listened to much current music since the mid-80s...

Lol, that's so cool that they played this song! And I'm with you... I don't listen to much current music, either. At my prom, they played all current music, and I'd never heard any of the songs before (they were all pretty bad songs too, lol)... I wished my prom had actually been in the 80s!
