Your welcome. There have been many Transformers series and a new one coming next year. But I'll always love the original show known as Transformers Generation 1. They have the episodes on youtube.

I forgot that Orson Welles and gravelly-voiced Lionel Stander (Hollywood character actor from the 1930s-80s) did voices for the '86 animated film.

Yes they are. And some of the original voice actors like Corey Burton, Susan Blu, and John Moschitta Jr (the original Blurr) are coming back to voice their original characters. Even Weird Al Yankovic is going to be a voice. You can find more info about the new Transformers series on here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_Animated

I believe it was Orson's last performance too.

Wow, Werid Al as a transformer. Interseting. Hmm, not sure wether the new series will live up to the old ones. It' looks as though they are changing too much. I loved the old ones though. So I'm biased.

I know what you mean. It's a shame Peter Cullen and Frank Welker won't be part of this series. And they're changing Optimus Prime into a firetruck.

And I've heard that parents and teachers keep complaining how negative it was that Megatron transforms into a gun, so they decided to change him into a jet.

And I guess they're changing Soundwave into a vehicle because the kids of today don't use cassette players.

I too prefer the original Transformers series. But I might watch this new series since it has Blurr, my favorite Transformer, in it.
