Does anyone remember this Twiddlebug skit from the late 80's?
A green Twiddlebug, who was their landlord, was installing a smoke detector on the wall and then left the house. The Twiddlebugs were wondering what that round thing on the wall was. Tina Twiddlebug remembered that they taught what that thing was in school. It was a smoke detector that goes off when there's smoke. Suddenly, the detector went off. Mom Twiddlebug remembered that she left a roast bean in the oven. They all panicked as the smoke increased.
Ernie saw the smoke coming out of the milk carton house and went, "Uh oh! Mrs. Twiddlebug must've burned another bean again." So he took a watering can and poured it over the house putting out the fire. As the Twiddlebugs looked at the now burned bean, Pa said, "Don't worry, I'll take the family out for dinner." Everyone cheered and also wondered why it always seems to rain every time Mom burns a bean.
