Great list of favorites, nice to see you also love Evil Dead, if you love that movie, i recommend: "Dawn of the Dead" ( Both versions) and "Re-Animator", two must see horror flicks in the same vein.

I do love both Dawn of the Deads. I didn't list them because I was at work and surrounded by three fourth graders constantly asking what my movies were about. I told them that they had to be teenagers to see a lot of the films. As an edit, I'm going to replace the both Shreks and Men at Work and Mr. Congeniality with Seven, 12 Monkeys, True Romance and Hellboy. I didn't list those movies earlier because I was running out of time and the kids were shouting suggestions in my ear, so I wasn't so quick to think of them.

Thanks for the heads up on Re-Animator. I love the horror genre and if it has any of the sick silliness of the Evil Dead's then I'm sure I'll love it.

I was surprised at how tough it is to even narrow a list down to 100. There are a lot on Dee's list that I love but just don't have room for on a century list (ie. Alien (s), E.T., Close Encounters..., Goodfellas, etc)

You must see "Re-Animator", a definite cult classic of horror, sci-fi and comedy all rolled into one! it's kind of like "Evil Dead" meets "Frankenstein" but a whole lot sicker and is the only film featuring a blonde being molested by a talking severed zombie head with it's body to carry it.
